AdvanceMed is a Czech conference focused on the use of modern technologies in healthcare – artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robotics and telemedicine. Its second edition took place on 9– 10 April 2026 at the Gong multifunctional hall in the Lower Vítkovice Area, under the professional patronage of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ostrava, Ostrava University Hospital, and VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava.
The event welcomed more than 400 professionals, including physicians, healthcare management and technology innovators, and this year focused primarily on prevention and screening using artificial intelligence and modern technologies – spanning cardiology, neurology and dermatology.
Our co-founder Branislav Bezák spoke in the opening block on AI in cardiology and went on to chair a dedicated session focused on innovations transforming cardiovascular care.
